Annual conference details and how to book.
Thank you for your interest in the Association of Anaesthesia Associates Annual Conference which will be held in Norwich, on the 3rd & 4th October.
This year’s AAA conference will be an informative event, attracting AAs, aspiring AAs and the wider team. Joining together professionals from across the country showcasing the work of AAs and sharing best practice. We look forward to welcoming you at the fantastic Assembly House in Norwich!
On day 1 delegates will be able to select from a variety of hands on workshops and members can join us for our AGM at 4:30pm. All AAA members are encouraged to attend the AGM. Day 1 will also feature a conference meal, all delegates are invited and we advise early booking because of limited capacity. Friday 4th October is the full day of lecture style CPD with particular focus on human factors and delivery of care. We will also hear from key stakeholders working towards AA workforce regulation.
New for this year – submit your abstracts for our poster competition. Further details can be found on the booking link, with great prizes on offer.
At such a critical time, where the NHS workforce is going through immense challenges and changes, it is important we come together and discuss the next steps in our professional development and discuss ideas which can support and strengthen the AA workforce and engage the wider anaesthesia workforce.

By Road
There are a variety of car parks available throughout the city.

Please book hotel’s as soon as possible.
There are a variety of options across the city. The conference venue also has a limited number of rooms available.
Other option include;
Travelodge – Travelodge Norwich Central is less than 0.5 mile from the venue, £68 per night.
Premier Inn – Norwich Nelson City is close to Norwich train station and a 15 minute walk to the venue, £65 per night.
